Well, this has been a rough ride.
Our hearts go out to each and every couple who’s had to postpone or cancel their wedding due to the ongoing health pandemic. We mourn with you. It’s not an easy thing to cancel or postpone your dream wedding, to let all those hard hours of work go unnoticed. We’ve cried too as we’ve heard from each couple telling us about how difficult this decision has been.
But despite it all, love is not cancelled.
COVID-19 may have decided to crash the wedding, but it hasn’t cancelled love. Love is going to get us all through this – it’s the string of hope that we will cling to.
Too often we get caught in the rush of life, the busyness of it all that we miss each other completely. We’re with our partner on the daily, but how often do we get to see them? As humans, we long to be seen, to be heard, and to be understood. We simply long for human connection. Although this time hasn’t been easy, and it most definitely hasn’t been ideal, we hope that the restrictions will give you an opportunity to take the time to reconnect with your partner.
See them. Be with them.
No technology, no TV or Netflix, but just to be with one another. To soak up their presence, their laugh, their smile – to listen to their current fears, their stresses and future dreams. Fear will make us believe that we are going through this alone, but we’re not. Just take look into your partner’s never-changing eyes and know that you are not alone. You are loved, you are cared for, and you will survive this pandemic. Love conquers all.
Despite the chaos, the long-distance hugs and heart-wrenching fear, we hope that you and your loved ones will be at peace knowing that true love never fails.
All our love,
Josh & Bianca x
